About the game:
The events of the game take place approximately 1000 years before the events of the last part of the series - Skyrim, during the Second Era, in a period of time that will later be called the "Interregnum". Many powerful factions in Cyrodiil are trying to seize power in the empire. The situation is aggravated by the fact that the planet Nirn (the scene of all parts of the series) comes too close to the Oblivion plan of the Daedric Prince Molag Bal. Taking advantage of this, Molag Bal tries to take over all of Tamriel and make it part of his plan. At the same time, necromancy begins to flourish, led by the necromancer Mannimarco (who is familiar to fans of the Daggerfall and Oblivion series).
All Tamriel is divided into 4 warring factions. For three main ones - the Ebonheart Pact (Nords, Dunmer, Argonians), Aldmeri Dominion (Altmer, Bosmer, Khajiit), Daggerfall Covenant (Bretons, Orcs, Redguards) - and players have to play. Cyrodiil is a common enemy for all factions, and it is impossible to play as him. The game for the Imperials (on the side of any of the three factions) is available only in the "imperial" digital or disc versions.
Also in the game there will be guilds of Fighters, Mages, Thieves and others. Cyrodiil will be the only PvP arena. Most of the "side" tasks in various locations are non-linear, that is, there is the possibility of both passing in several ways and choosing options for ending the task. The choice of passing such quests does not greatly affect the main plot, but this somewhat changes the attitude of the NPC to the player himself.
