Magicka is a game with an elementary, crystal-clear, like Finnish vodka, idea. Four wizards in bright robes, eight schools of magic, one hundred thousand five hundred monsters ... No role-playing system, fiddling with inventory and a deep plot. Sorcerers run forward along the only true path, exterminating enemies with colorful special effects. There seems to be nowhere more casual. The answer to the question why Magicka deserves a review at all is hidden in the lower left corner of the screen. Any RPG will envy such flexible combat mechanics. Each of the eight hot keys has a specific element assigned to it. Q - water, W - life, E - protective field, R - cold, A - electricity, S - a ray of dark energy, D - earth, F - fire.
