Hellgate: London is set five years after the defeat of humanity in a war with countless hordes of demons. The fattening enemy concentrated his forces in the dilapidated capital of Great Britain. The city is dotted with underground networks, bomb shelters, sewers and secret passages, which are hardly inferior in scale to the dungeons from Diablo 2.
In addition to the hordes of demonic infection, on the way of the player there will be quite friendly NPCs who are not averse to helping the player with a useful quest or joining the attraction with firing at the wrong ones from large-caliber units. The species identity of most of the enemies has not been disclosed at the moment, but it is already known for certain that imps, motley demons and eternally hungry legions of undead will stand in the way of the main hero. To increase the playability of their project, the developers intend to use a patented random mission generator, made in the manner of a similar function from Sacred.
In addition to the usual blades and firearms, Hellgate: London will offer the player a rich assortment of combat and defensive magic. Experience will be accrued according to the classic scheme familiar from Diablo 2. After the destruction of the next batch of monsters with a service fireball, the character will receive a certain number of points, which can subsequently be scattered according to the corresponding abilities. In total, Flagship Studios promises three main branches of development: Vengeance, Auras, and hit combinations. The first contains spells of an offensive nature, the second - acting constantly, well, and the third allows you to learn a variety of brutal body movements that send an exhausted enemy carcass to the very heart of the underworld. Damage received by the enemy will be determined by both the characteristics of the character and the parameters of the mutilation device itself. In addition to standard types of small arms, comrade Roper promises unique artifacts that allow you to attack the enemy with magic ammunition. Some barrels will be able to mount additional relics, thereby increasing their firepower.
The creators intend to set the bar for the maximum level at the "50" mark, as a result of which your virtual protégé will turn into a kind of demigod.
Considering the popularity of Diablo on battle.net and hundreds of other amateur servers, the developers did not ignore the multiplayer mode with support for up to 32 people in one game. Also, cooperative cleansing of London and gentlemen's fights one on one are not excluded.
