Gorky 17 is a role-playing computer game developed by the Polish company Metropolis Software. The game takes place at the military facility Gorky-17 (in the vicinity of the city of Lubin), which is terrorized by mutants. A NATO group of four soldiers arrives in the city to evacuate the remaining people, but disappears without a trace. A second group of three NATO soldiers was sent to the site to search for the first group. The player takes command of this group, explores the city and looks for the reasons for the emergence of mutants.
