Command & Conquer: Generals has nothing to do with the previous games in the series. In addition, unlike previous C&C-branded games, Generals and the Zero Hour Expansion Pack were developed by EA Los Angeles, formed from the remnants of Westwood Studios when EA closed Westwood in Las Vegas.The game uses the SAGE engine.
