And only in the farthest corners of the planet there are still hints of freedom - it is there that the germs of resistance will sprout. XCOM will be revived and continue to fight!

You have to take command of the "Avenger" - an alien ship that has become the mobile base of the XCOM organization. Moving around the world, striking unexpected blows, rescuing people and seizing valuable equipment, resistance will gain strength and humanity will gain new hope. Base building, more flexible combat mechanics, five classes of fighters with their own set of skills for development, a system of random generation of levels - XCOM 2 is intended to become a worthy continuation and development of the ideas of the original game.

For twenty years, humanity and aliens have managed to switch places. Now you are the one who has to conduct offensive operations in conditions of limited opportunities and in the face of the constant need to deflect the threat from your mobile headquarters. Using firepower and sabotage tactics against superior enemy forces, you have to recruit soldiers and build a network of underground resistance to destroy the plans of aliens and save humanity.
