T-55AM-1 is a modernized version of the T-55, developed by Soviet designers in the 80s. Among the innovations - increased protection of the hull and turret due to additional armor, and an improved fire control system with a laser rangefinder. The tank is also equipped with the Tucha smoke grenade launching system and the Bastion guided weapon system, the missiles of which penetrate up to 600 mm of armor. As a result of all the improvements, the tank's combat weight was 41,5 tons, so it is equipped with a more powerful 690 HP engine, which allows it to reach speeds of up to 50 km / h.
