The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a multiplatform computer role-playing game developed by the Polish company CD Projekt RED based on the series of novels The Witcher by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, a continuation of the computer games The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The final part of the trilogy. The game was originally scheduled for release on February 24, 2015, but in December 2014 it was announced that the game was being pushed back to May 19, 2015.

Game process.

According to the developers, the third part of the series will combine a non-linear story and a multi-regional open game world that will be thirty times larger than the world of The Witcher 2. Various vehicles, such as a horse or a ship, can be used to move around.

The passage of the main storyline will take about 50 hours of play. Side quests will take about the same amount. During this time, the hero will be able to pump up to a maximum level of 60.

The combat mechanics are based on the principles of previous games, but the team has revised many details. So, the roll will be replaced by a pirouette, which, according to the plan, will retain the protective function without loss of mobility; it will be possible to parry a blow or dodge, even if the energy has run out, however, losing balance; the ability to interact with the environment during the battle, for example, stir up a wasp hive with the Aard sign to cause additional damage to enemies. There are 96 animations of Geralt's movements in battle (there were 20 in the last game). CD Projekt RED reports that swordsmanship experts are involved in the creation of combat animations. Also, when capturing motions, a stuntman is used. In general, the developers promise a more understandable and intuitive combat system. The artificial intelligence of the enemies has been completely redesigned.

The system of magical signs used by the witcher has also been reworked. So, each of the five signs will have the main form, and when moving along the selected branch, it will be possible to open the secondary form of the sign, for example, the Igni sign in its original form allows the release of a flame. The secondary form deals splash damage. Both forms of the sign will be available.

Other features and improvements include: the ability to store items in inventory saddlebags, growing a beard, horse racing, updated Witcher Senses mechanics - it will allow you to see evidence and traces, - the ability to create items, armor and weapons, as well as the ability to import saved data from the previous part.
