The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep is the sequel to the iconic series of humorous first-person RPGs, in which players await a hilarious storyline with lots of quirky dialogue and dozens of elaborate characters that make fun of their special features. The game is developed on the Unreal Engine 4, which provides a graphical breakthrough in games of this kind.
The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep takes place again in Skara Bry, 150 years after the final of the third part of the series. Since then, the city will change a lot, significantly increasing in size. However, key locations such as taverns and the Adventurer's Guild remain where they were. Players will have to explore the world, descend into dungeons, wander through intricate labyrinths filled with clever puzzles and riddles. And of course, players will encounter a wide variety of hostile monsters, wild beasts and robbers on their way.
