Tharsis is a sci-fi turn-based strategy game in which you set out on an expedition to Mars, from where mysterious signals were received!
At first, the game will be harmless and even interesting, because what's wrong with the fact that specially trained people will be sent on an expedition to Mars. There is nothing interesting there, but strange signals came to Earth that the government could not ignore. With a carefully selected team, you will have to survive the worst 300 days. The difficulty of this project lies in the fact that not everyone will come back, so you will have to make a difficult choice.
Depending on the situation, the crew members can get angry, upset, quarrel due to lack of resources, offended, and much more. Imagine a situation in which your ship is far from Earth and it is not so easy to get back. All days are very similar to each other, but one day you find yourself in a meteor shower, which will cause irreparable damage to the hull of the ship. From this moment, everything will change, the strong in spirit will look for ways to eliminate the mistake, and the weak will start to panic and commit stupid acts.
To make the game as realistic as possible, the developers have spent a lot of time studying materials about space travel. Each simulated situation will require certain actions that will have to be answered. Depending on the decisions made, your team may die of starvation or someone from the crew will go crazy and cut everyone's throats.
Since this is a strategy, you will have a little time to think about your options and come to the right decision. Each turn you will roll dice, which directly depend on problems and success. In other words, the faster you react and give the right orders, the more people will survive. Unlike other similar projects, you will not have a second chance, which means that if someone dies, they will not be resurrected.
