Habitable Stations: Build habitable space stations that act as isolated planets in densely populated empires and provide a home for new populations.
Aspiration Bonuses: Earn Unity Points and embrace Traditions to earn Aspiration Bonuses allowing you to develop your empire in unique ways. Follow one of the three paths and develop your race along the biological, psionic or syncretic path.
Indoctrination: Influence primitive civilizations and encourage them to adopt your ethics by using observation stations and preparing them to enlighten or join your empire.
Extended Slavery: Maximize the benefits of slavery by choosing specific roles for enslaved species. Make them servants for the dominant race, make them slaves to fight for your empire, or keep them as livestock to feed your people.
Extended Rule: Assume unique civil rights and powers for your government. Play the role of a champion of purity who rejects all diplomacy, become a hive mind to avoid political infighting, or create a motley empire following the path of syncretic evolution.
