Nemesis is an add-on for Stellaris in which the player must determine the fate of a galaxy plunging into chaos. It will add espionage tools to the game, as well as the ability to resolve a crisis with the powers of a galactic guardian, or bring everything to an end. Stellaris has never had such cool and powerful features before. You have to make a difficult choice between chaos and order and determine the fate of a galaxy mired in the abyss of crisis. What is your choice: to seize power by negotiation and subterfuge, or just watch the stars fade one by one? Key features: The personification of the crisis. You are a flame that devours the galaxy and threatens to destroy all life. As your empire grows ever more formidable, you unlock powerful power-ups to help you deal with the galaxy's stalemate on your own terms. Galactic Guardian. Convince the galactic community to designate you as a guardian to gain emergency powers to deal with the crisis. Use your newfound power to bring prosperity and order to a galaxy on the brink of collapse. Having overcome the crisis, you can resign ... or you can save them and create a new galactic empire.
Espionage. Knowledge is power. New tools will help you keep an eye on your enemies (or friends). Send agents on covert operations and counterintelligence beyond enemy borders. Lies and deceit will help you mislead your enemies and discover their darkest secrets. The higher your level of espionage, the more new operations open up, including sabotage of space bases, obtaining assets and stealing technologies. Smear campaigns and inciting diplomatic incidents are a great way to turn allies against each other. If you play your cards right, no one will guess anything. Ignorance will be their death sentence.
New ship skins. Nemesis adds new ships to the game, inspired by the most majestic science fiction empires. With them, your appearance will reflect your inner strength, whether you are the savior of the galaxy or its destruction.
