Star Wars: Squadrons is a multiplayer Star Wars franchise focused on battles in space between Resistance and Empire pilots. Players will face battles in heaven and space in 5x5 format, and the events of the game unfold after the end of the sixth episode of the saga - after Return of the Jedi. In addition to the multiplayer mode, the game also offers a single player campaign, which is the actual prologue to multiplayer.
In the campaign, players will have a story of two sides of the conflict at once - the Galactic Empire and the New Republic. In multiplayer, players have several modes. Players are waiting for "Air Battles", where players simply fight in 5x5 mode and "Battle of Flotillas", where players must complete certain tasks on different maps in order to win a large-scale space battle, eventually destroying the enemy flagship.
