Star Wars: Battlefront (from the English Star Wars: Battlefront) is a computer game, the third in the Star Wars: Battlefront series. Development was carried out from 2006 to 2008 and was canceled. The game was developed by Free Radical Design (now Crytek UK). Following the closure of LucasArts in April 2013 and the signing of a contract between Disney and Electronic Arts to develop AAA-level projects, it was announced at E3 in June 2013 that DICE would be developing the next installment in the series.

The first expansion pack will be released at the end of 2015 - "Battle for Jakku" - and will be free for everyone.
