Spintires is a car simulator computer game published by Oovee Game Studios. The release took place on June 12, 2014. Development began in 2009, the author of the project is Pavel Zagrebelny.

The game was created for Intel's Havok Physics Innovation Contest, held in 2008-2009. Participants were encouraged to use Havok Physics and Havok Animation products. Initially, it was a fairly simple demo that demonstrates the capabilities of the Havok engine, but was warmly received by the community, which contributed to the further development of the project into a full-fledged game. The game originates on the notorious Kickstarter - that's when the gaming community drew attention to Spintires. Since the first training camp, the game has changed significantly, acquired additional functions and acquired a considerable army of fans making modifications for it. Moreover, a multiplayer mode appeared in the final version.
