From generation to generation, tales of the Great Chaos were passed down - about how, long ago, a certain hero imprisoned the Demon King in a dungeon. Over time, the legend turned into a legend, then into a myth - until it was almost completely erased from the memory of people. Thus, the days in Midra flowed in happy oblivion. The people's careless attitude towards their country's terrible past loosened the chains that bound the Demon King, and one day they finally fell asleep. Chaos has risen, and the terrifying nightmares of bygone days have returned to life. Everyone from young to old learned about the Demon again. He advanced, striking fear into the hearts of the bravest, and bloody war became his companion. All who dared to oppose him fell. The weak were enslaved by demonic energy. Chaos struck every warrior; they all became his obedient servants. He did not leave hostages and crushed everyone, regardless of their position in society - from market beggars to the noblest lords. His power became so great that not a single mortal could resist it. Desperate to wait for salvation, the monks of the Forgotten Monastery, nicknamed the Last and still keeping the story of the Demon King in their memory, performed a special ceremony and summoned from the spirit world the very hero who once he was able to defeat Chaos. Your hero is the spirit of Prince Midra summoned by the monks. Your path lies through villages, forests and swamps, and enemies are waiting for you everywhere.
