As it became known, the new owner of the intellectual property of Rise of Nations is now Microsoft Studios, which has officially announced the re-release of Rise of Nations: Extended Edition.
Rise of Nations: Extended Edition will offer improved textures, lighting system, water, increased detail, full Steamworks integration (Steam Trading Cards, Cloud Saves, Multiplayer, Achievements), Twitch integration. The re-release will include the original game and the Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots expansion.
Rise of Nations: Extended Edition will be released on Steam in June.
