Design of video systems taking into account the requirements for the safety of objects.

The article substantiates the need to design video surveillance systems based on the security requirements of facilities. Criteria for the design of video systems have been substantiated, as which it is proposed to use the detection probability, detection time and the discrimination probability.

Examples are given and a comparative analysis of design results is given.
