Criterion Games did a smart thing - it brought out the old, proven formula “expensive cars, wide country roads, adrenaline”. Two career lines - for a racer and a policeman, a simple "pumping" feeding with new cars - that's all. No tinsel - tuning, plot, etc. Classic series: sat down - go. The car fleet, of course, is extremely busy, but in the near future it will become a sore spot for "luxurious" arcade races with licensed models - there are few decent cars in the world. However, the value of Hot Pursuit is not in the cars or in the mark on the speedometer. Criterion managed the main thing - to evoke nostalgia. Veterans will see the familiar features of the legendary Red Rock Ridge, Dolphin Cove, Cote d´Azur, Hometown in Seacrest County. And the rest, brought up in night cities and on racetracks, I hope, will find time to look around (“Free ride” works on a small map, but you won't find the police here - probably so as not to interfere with taking pictures).
