Mass Effect 3's story pads are just around the corner from The Arrival, the content pack for Mass Effect 2. In light of the events that took place during this very Arrival, Commander Shepard was put on trial and sent straight to the ground. However, during the first hearing, the notorious "Reapers" attack the homeland of humanity and begin to briskly exterminate the human race. Shepard does not waste time in vain, takes up arms and sets out to destroy the infidels who meet on his way to the shining Normandy and the future salvation of the Earth. Now Shepard's task is to find allies among the races who are ready to fight back the "Reapers" and save humanity from imminent death. Frankly, the task is not easy, because not everyone wants to get involved in the affairs of the "Reapers". After all, there is a chance that after Earth they will go to destroy the planets of brave "allies".

The game has several endings. Both bad and good - the ending will largely depend on who Shepard will make an alliance with, and with whom he will continue to secretly fight. The “fateful decisions” you made in previous games will also affect the ME3 universe. Say, killed partners like Garrus will disappear from the game world forever. If you do not have saves from ME and ME2 and there is nothing to import into ME3, then you will be allowed at the beginning of the game to determine how events developed in previous games - all decisions will be made in the form of a comic, as in PS3- versions of Mass Effect 2.
