COURSE (Corporate information systems)
Develop a model of a distributed relational database of an enterprise, consisting of a main production facility and several remote branches. Parts of the enterprise are connected by a computer network, have their own local databases, and can use data from remote sites. Global information is stored at a central site.
Develop an application that provides creation, modification and retrieval of data. Consider that all local databases are located on one computer.
Requirements:
Number of local databases> = 3;
Composition of a separate local database: linked tables (at least 2), indexes, stored procedures, triggers, generators;
Number of records in one table> = 10;
Database operations: creation, modification, database search;
DBMS: InterBase;
Languages: SQL, Delphi.
Data integrity: use the transaction apparatus, stored procedures, triggers;
Use CASE software design tools.
Work sequence:
Describe the composition and functioning of the enterprise specified in the assignment;
Build UML diagrams of use cases and classes for an enterprise database;
Build an "entity-relationship" infological model of the enterprise database;
Build a relational database model for an enterprise;
Split the enterprise database into local databases of central production and branches;
Perform initial database filling;
Write programs for operations with the database.

The programs are implemented in Delphi with a windowed interface. In the coursework, in the archive, there are sources of 4 programs (Delphi 7) with detailed comments, 3 local databases (InterBase), files of Rational Rose CASE tools, original diagrams (.png and .fla - macromedia), explanatory note ( 82 pages). Assessment given by the teacher: EXCELLENT. Only 9 screenshots have been posted, as there is a limit on the number of screenshots on the marketplace.
