Description
For a six-year project, Half-Life 2 is surprisingly fleeting. Fourteen chapters, flowing into each other like mercury, sweep before us in ten hours. The developers clearly know when to move on, as if they measured out the gameplay with a stopwatch in their hands: the episodes end, barely having time to get bored, giving way to completely different tasks. Similar to TRON 2.0 and Tribes: Vengeance, the game genuinely cares about keeping players from getting bored with more and more rabbits out of their hat.
