FORM generator (writes to SQL database)

The script for the generator of feedback forms (order forms).

The script allows you to create forms with any number of components (limitation of the lite version - you can create components of types text and textarea). In the full version (available for purchase at wwww.websmith.ru), you can also create components from radio buttons, checkboxes, drop-down lists (select).

Using the form generator script, you can create an infinite number of forms that you can place absolutely on any page of your site. The script will prepare all the necessary parameters by itself - you just have to create a project, add the necessary components and place the generated html-code on the page.

1. Installation.
- copy the files to the server.
- set access rights 775 (extreme case - 777 - the script must have write access to this directory) on directories

tpl / templates_c /

- run the install / index.php file and fill in the appropriate fields (database name, username, password, prefix (part of the name that will be added to all tables in this script so that there is no conflict with the names of other tables in this database)).
- After finishing the installation - go to the administrator mode (by default, the login is admin, the password is pass) and change the settings - first of all, change the password.

2. Design customization.
Since the system is built on the Smarty template engine, this will allow you to change any page of the system without affecting the performance of the code (however, attention is also required when working with templates). Templates are located in the directories, respectively.

Attention! The text of the letter that will come from the site is in the template
script_directory / tpl / templates / mail_text.tpl
The variable {$ text} contains the text of the sent handicap - you can change the rest of the design yourself.

At the beginning of each template there is a comment describing its functions.

The general structure of the script design (the administrative part - since there is no public one in this script) is as follows: the common upper and lower parts of the pages are connected to each window (visible page) - located in the design / _top.php and design / _bottom folders. php. Thus, the general picture of each page looks like this - first comes the code from _top.php, then - a part of the code formed in a file - a template with the tpl extension (which one is responsible for what - you can find out from the preliminary comment in the template itself - or from the list below ) - and then the general file design / bottom.php is connected, which forms the further - "bottom" part of the page. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the concept of "top" and "bottom" of a page is a conventional concept, since html means, for example, the left side - the menu - both in top.php and bottom.php. The concept of "top" and "bottom" is used here precisely to indicate the code of the html page - and not its display.
