Constructing two-factor linear regression
Initial data requires:
1. Evaluate the indicators of variation of each feature and draw conclusions about the possibilities of using OLS for their study.
2. Analyze the linear coefficients of pair and partial correlation.
3. Write a multiple regression equation, evaluate the significance of its parameters, and explain their economic meaning.
4. Using Fisher's F-criterion, evaluate the statistical reliability of the regression equation and R2х1х2. Compare the values of the adjusted and uncorrected linear coefficients of multiple determination.
5. Using Fisher's particular F-criteria, evaluate the feasibility of including factor x1 after x2 and factor x2 after x1 in the multiple regression equation.
6. Calculate the average partial coefficients of elasticity and give on their basis a comparative assessment of the strength of the influence of factors on the result.
