The student must complete one of the examples listed below:
Example 1. Construction of a spatial model of the relationship between the volume of sales of one of the company's products from several factor attributes. Let there be some data on the volume of sales of one of the company's products. Based on a meaningful analysis, a list of indicators that are supposed to be included in the model has been compiled, and a table of initial data has been compiled (Table 1.). The problem is solved using the methods of correlation and regression analysis.
1. It is necessary to compile a matrix of paired correlation coefficients and, on its basis, give recommendations on including certain factors in the model.
Decision. Pairwise correlation coefficients are calculated based on formulas (1) and (2):
