Dota 2 is a multiplayer computer team game, a genre of strategy games with MMORPG elements, a continuation of the famous Dota map for Warcraft III. In the fall of 2009, Valve hired the main developer of IceFrog, in the summer of 2010 it applied for the registration of this trademark. On October 13, 2010 the game was announced for release in 2011 on the Game Informer game portal. On August 15, 2011, a trailer for the game was published on the official blog. But to this day, the game is in a closed state.
Describing the gameplay is not an easy task. The game camera provides the player with a view from the perspective that is familiar to RTS, however, it would be wrong to classify Dota as a game of this genre. And although each hero starts his journey from scratch, and can achieve a lot by level 25, it would be equally wrong to classify the game as an MMORPG.
