Diary of an old lady

Old lady Jean Ashfield receives a letter from her longtime friend Joyce Strange, in which she says that her beloved daughter has died. To support her friend, who has already lost several relatives over the course of a year, Jean Ashfield travels to her in St. Albans. In the pharmacy, she accidentally overhears a conversation between two old women, one of whom expresses the idea that all deaths in the Strange family seem to her very suspicious. This conversation makes Jean Ashfield ponder and sort out this strange case.
