It turns out that the millennial relics, the Kansho and Bakuya swords, found in the course of SRO research, have a unique multi-layered structure, in the heart of which is a mysterious substance. This substance called "Jiu Xiang's Soul" has the ability to resurrect the dead. In an attempt to take over it, the large terrorist organization SAI, with its own army at its disposal, used state-of-the-art technology known as the Quantum Transporter to infiltrate the SRO's research facility and steal top-secret and incredibly dangerous data. But that's not the worst of it. In an attempt to adjust the coordinates of the Quantum Transporter, Shelia mistakenly activates the device, causing everyone in the vicinity to be transported to the Floating Island - an air continent near the North Pole that has been dormant for over 1000 years. It soon turns out that the various animals that lived here and the corpses of the former inhabitants of the island have been brought back to life by the "Soul of Jiu Xiang".
