Battle VS Chess is a game of ordinary chess, which is varied by the animation of all the actions of the pieces. In addition, the usual white and black chess pieces have been transformed into colorful armies of light and darkness. The former are brave knights in shining armor, and the latter are demonic creatures. In addition to the normal game mode, which exactly follows the rules of classic chess, Battle VS Chess has an optional Action Mode. In it, the figures do not fight according to a scripted scheme, but instead the player gets the opportunity to take part in the battle himself using various weapons, combat techniques and combos. This feature completely changes the meaning of the terms "check" and "checkmate".
