Description
Assassin's Creed Chronicles is a computer trilogy from the Assassin's Creed series developed by Ubisoft Montreal in partnership with Climax Studios for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PS Vita platforms. The games are in 2,5D format, each chapter of the trilogy has its own visual style, and the characters have a special fighting style.
The first game of the trilogy. Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China takes place in China in 1526, at the beginning of the fall of the Ming dynasty and two years after the events of the short animated film Assassin's Creed: Embers. The main character is Shao Jun - the last assassin from the Chinese brotherhood. After training with Ezio Auditore, she decides to return to her homeland in order to take revenge and restore the Brotherhood.
In general, the entire trilogy was coldly received by the press. Almost none of the foreign journalists gave the games high marks. The exception was Chronicles: China, which in the CIS in the opinion of Criticism received 71/100 based on 14 reviews, and on Metacritic it was rated at 67/100 based on 15 reviews. Many reviewers noted that Assassin's Creed Chronicles was a failed experiment for Ubisoft, hinting at the secondary gameplay elements and weak plot, while emphasizing the good graphics.
