After graduating from the Radio Engineering Institute in Ryazan, Vasily Golovachev served in the army for two years. 1989 was a significant year for Vasily Golovachev: he quits his job, despite his high position, and decides to go headlong into creativity.
At the age of 35, Vasily Golovachev becomes a member of the Writers' Union of Russia. From under his pen came out more than a hundred interesting works, which were published and are being published in huge circulations. The most popular novels are: "The Fighting Man", "The Fight Isn't Eternal" and many others that have become bestsellers. In total, more than 20 million copies of Vasily Golovachev's works have been published. For this achievement in 2008 it was decided to enter it into the Guinness Book of Records of Russia. In the same year, a star in the constellation Gemini was named after Vasily Vasilyevich Golovachev.
Vasily Vasilyevich received many awards, here are some of them: the Golden Snake prize for the novel “Black Man” in 1992, in 1994 the prize for the best novel, the magazine “We”, in 2002 the prize for contributions to literature. And that's not all.
Vasily Golovachev is a versatile person. In addition to writing, he is also fond of painting. Few know that two books included his own illustrations. In addition, Vasily is a master of sports in volleyball.
Vasily Golovachev is not only a talented writer, but also a producer and screenwriter.
The writer has long and firmly married to the beautiful woman Zinaida. They have two children and two wonderful grandchildren. According to the writer himself, they had both black and white stripes in their family, but Zoya always tried to save the family - she succeeded.
