The task:
The object of administration is a PC in the network. A firewall was selected as an object of control.
Develop the following questions:
1) Creation of a profile for an administration object containing hardware and software characteristics, settings of network parameters. Consider the created profile as a reference for this object.
2) Saving the standard.
3) Loading the reference and checking the compliance of the administration object with the reference profile.
The work was done in C # in studio 2005 (under the framework version 2.0)
The block diagrams are made in Microsoft Visio.
When implementing this work, the following areas in programming were touched upon:
1.working with xml
2.exchanging data over sockets
3.working with text files (reading, processing read data, writing)
4.working with form elements
5.working with streams
The archive contains:
- source codes of the program
- the wipfw firewall required for the program to work
- separate block diagram files
- explanatory note (word 2003)
