We sought to create a world that could show you life as it was in that era - the way people lived and dressed; the way the places we know looked like in those days when people used them in a completely different way than we do now. That's why the approach to creating illustrations for Kingdom Come was also different. There was still room for imagination, but it relied on historical research, consultations with medievalists and the study of archives. So in addition to creating attractive images of the protagonist in various poses, our artists also had to study how maps and frescoes were drawn then; altars in temples and texts in books were decorated. They created detailed diagrams of medieval mining mechanisms, as well as landscapes where their newfound knowledge of medieval agriculture and life was combined with real places. create for the game. All this material would be enough for several such collections. Pretty much every idea you see in the game has been scrutinized before being rendered. We are convinced that our artists brilliantly coped with their task.
