Google Maps for smarts on UIQ3. Russian language. It can display a map of the area or a more detailed satellite view (I found my house and jumped for half an hour for joy). Satellite maps are not fresh, at least last summer. No GPS is required to find your location.
Traffic eats, in my opinion, tolerably - the "trip" from Moscow to Novokuznetsk (with a quick overview of the sights) was kept within 3Mb with a trifle.
